I am a California credentialed teacher with a Master’s in Teaching from the University of California, Irvine. With over 20 years of diverse teaching experience spanning public, private, charter schools, and university summer programs, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role. I earned my B.A. in Psychology & Social Behavior from UCI’s School of Social Ecology in 2004, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching and Credential in 2005.
Currently, I contribute to the Anteaters in Education board at UCI and have a rich background in education, including roles as an elementary school teacher, BTSA Support Provider, and instructor in the Gifted Students Academy at UCI. For the past twelve years, I have been the owner of Cambridge Learner’s Academy.
I am a member of the California Science Teachers Association (CSTA), the National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi), and American Montessori International (AMI). I also hold certifications in Gifted and Talented Education from UCI and am a Tier 1 and Tier 2 Certified NGSS Teacher.
My goal is to inspire students through engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking. As an experienced Curriculum Specialist, I excel in classroom management, lesson planning, public speaking, and curriculum development, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing educational excellence.
FRENCH TEACHER
Anne La Valle is a French native. She was raised in the South of France in the Occitan Region. Anne started her journey after graduating from the CREPS (Sports University Center). She received her BEGDA diploma later which allowed her to teach dance and gymnastics. Upon immigrating to the United States, Anne continued her studies at UCI to attain a BA in Social Ecology with an emphasis on Psychology and Social Behavior, and a focus on Life Span Psychology. She later went on to obtain a Masters in French Literature at Cal State Fullerton. Her first teaching experience in the United States was in 2004 when she became a French Teacher for a renowned Montessori School in Hollywood. Anne spent 6 years enriching the lives of preschoolers with French songs and poetry to master a foreign language. Anne is currently teaching college level French courses at three local Universities, namely CSUF, Champman University, and Mount San Antonio College.
